Lee Bauman

Herman Lee Baumann, 74, passed away Wednesday, (Jan. 13, 2016).

He was born January 23, 1941. 

He was retired 
U.S. Navy, 1960 to 1980, and retired USD 259 Security officer, 1981 to 2001.

While in the Navy he crossed the equator Jan. 31, 1970 on the USS Midway CVA-41 and Aug. 7, 1971 on the USS Dixon AS-37.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 23, 2016) at the American Legion, 400 S. Spencer Rd, Newton.

He was preceded in death by parents, John and Frances Baumann, and brother, Christopher.

He is survived by three daughters, Dana (Larry) Paxson, Darla Tucker and Stacie (Don) Marquis; two brothers, David and Bradley Baumann; and grandchildren, Trenton, Brett and Alyssa Tucker, Kayla and Kaylee Shannon and McKenna Marquis.
